Livio Gigliuto is Chairman of Istituto Piepoli. Sociologist, Director General of the Fondazione Italia Digitale and Director of the National Observatory on Digital Communication and President of the Consorzio Opinio Italia.

He is author of “How to Promote the City. Effective territorial marketing strategies and actions” (FrancoAngeli, 2015), of ”Di corsa. Of course” (Malcor D' Edizione, 2017) together with Fabio Pagliara, of “L'Italia che comunica in digitale” (Bonanno, 2019), of “L'Opinione degli Italiani nel primo ventennio degli anni duemila” (FrancoAngeli, 2020) together with Nicola Piepoli, of ”L'Italia che comunica in digitale. Edition 2021,” of “L'Opinione degli Italiani nel 2022 (e dintorni)” with Sara Merigo and numerous essays on communication, marketing and public opinion.

He teaches public communication & social networking at SNA, National School of Administration. He comments on and analyzes major current events, society, politics and economics on the most important national media.
