The story of Enrico 

Enrico Chieffi has soon learnt that sailing is an inner challenge, made up of silence and loneliness.  

Born in Antwerp from Neapolitan parents, grown up between the streets of Milan and Marina di Carrara and its promenade, he travels through the wind to become human. Hard winds, though winds, light winds, winds that need sails to be crossed: what really matters is not winning, but sailing air and water, and, most of all, doing it well. Together with his brother Tommaso, still very young, he charted a course, the precursor of a way of sailing full of professionalism, passion and great effort. He has known the weariness of the journey and the solitude of coming home, empty rooms where you can measure the price of a life focused on one single great goal. He has crossed countries and continents, sailed between big goals and bold challenges, without ever losing sight of what truly matters.  
Next to Claudia, during their honeymoon, he has won the world title, the dream of a lifetime; but most of all he has found out the essence of the ordinary, which is genuinely extraordinary. In his wife’s eyes he has read vision, courage and trust, winds that fill the sails of those who navigate life, enabling them to face difficulties with their gaze fixed firmly on the horizon. 
Life calls with the birth of Anna first, and then of Claudio: two kids who have turned into new winds, never crossed before, and that ask for a change of route. New challenges to be won far from regattas, but within the walls of a company to be revitalized, a brand to turn into a legend.  
Today, he looks forward, with the same deep and intimate gaze of those who do not sail, but live the sea. Trust – he says – is the engine of life. Trust opens horizons because in life, as when you sail, you grow through storms, but mostly by learning to trust winds and your fellow travelers.
